Fans Think Taylor Swift Tipped Off Brittany and Patrick Mahomes' Gender Reveal

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and wife Brittany may have gotten scooped on their own gender reveal.

The couple shared an adorable Instagram video on July 19 showing their two children playing a game of tic-tac-toe to reveal the gender of their yet-to-arrive sibling. The video showed that baby No. 3 will be a girl, which Swift may have already revealed earlier in the week.

As Pete Grathoff of the Kansas City Star noted, some fans thought Swift may have given a subtle hint about the new Mahomes baby's gender during a concert appearance.

"Fans believe Brittany Mahomes, who is co-owner of the Kansas City Current, may have let good friend Taylor Swift know there would be a gender reveal. That’s based on what Swift wore in her Eras Tour concert," Grathoff wrote.

The report then included an image of Swift's glittery blue and pink outfit from a recent show on her Eras Tour, which appeared to be a strong match to the colors of the tic-tac-toe game shown in the Instagram video.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes have grown close to Swift, who is dating his Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce. As People magazine noted, the couples went on a double date earlier this week after taking in Swift's concert in Amsterdam.
