Kansas City Chiefs Player Shockingly Changes Positions, Sends NFL Fans Into a Frenzy

The offseason is time for experimentation and trying to find wrinkles in the game that you can exploit in the coming season. A lot of the potential wrinkles and experiments may end up on the cutting room floor, but if they do make it through, training camp is when you will see them be fleshed out.

For the Kansas City Chiefs, it appears that we may be seeing one of those experimentations play out. Over the weekend, as fall camp started for the two-time defending Super Bowl champions, we saw a position change for one of the most talented players on the offense.

Former wide receiver Kadarius Toney started taking some reps at the running back position and working with that group instead of out wide.

Toney is an interesting player with an eventful NFL career so far. He is arguably among the most talented and dynamic players in the league, but by all means, he appears to be a headcase and someone who teams have struggled to get the most out of. His time with the New York Giants after getting drafted was short, and while the Chiefs have done their best to utilize him so far, it hasn't always been easy.

Maybe this switch to RB will help him out. Here's how fans reacted to the news online:

Is it a full-on switch, or just something that Andy Reid is toying with during training camp? That much can't be known until we get closer to the season, but for now it is interesting to say the least.
