Fans Call Travis Kelce 'Silly' After He Reveals His Training Camp Essential Item

Just like kids when they're packing for sleepaway camp, pro football players like Travis Kelce have to make sure to bring everything they're going to need when they head to training camp—and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end recently shared the number one item on his list of must-haves.

Training camp for the Chiefs started on Sunday, July 21, in St. Joseph, Mo., as Parade previously reported, and the team shared a video on TikTok featuring Kelce and players such as linebackers Curtis Jacobs and Nick Bolton revealing their "training camp essential" items.

While Jacobs apparently can't get through camp without "fruit snacks" and Bolton needs to have his Xbox with him, Kelce's answer was a bit more basic (and practical): "Drawers," said the popular player.

Fans couldn't argue with Kelce's response, though some had a hard time seeing past his mustache—a throwback to the facial hair he was sporting when he first paired up with Taylor Swift.

"Travis looks so silly," commented one TikTok user, while another referenced his previous nickname.

"el Travador is back?! That's how you know it's training camp."

"Well the good thing is Travis brought drawers for Travis 🤣," one fan noted, referencing a now-viral Jason Kelce quote , as another teased, "Travis the right answer was your gf."

"Travis must have learned the hard way," someone else joked, as another echoed, "I feel like Travis has forgot his “drawers” once or twice before 😂."

Still, more fans had other suggestions for what Kelce should pack in addition to underwear.

"i wanna see travis' eras merch in his dorm ," wrote a commenter.

Even the official Kansas City Chiefs account on X couldn't help but call out Kelce's facial hair, posting a pic with the caption: "KILLA STACHE IS BACK."

Not everybody loves Kelce's mustache, but it's safe to say that most fans are probably in support of his decision to stock up on underwear for training camp!
