For the Taylor Swift fans keeping close tabs on Travis Kelce's schedule and scheming his next potential meet-up with the 14-time Grammy winner, the calculus becomes much more difficult as the Chiefs began their training camp Sunday morning.
He will spend the next 24 days at Missouri Western State at St. Joseph's, Missouri , preparing for the rapidly approaching NFL campaign, with the Chiefs releasing a photo of the upbeat tight end rocking his now-signature mustache, a positive aura former three-time Pro Bowler Kyle Long believes is due to Kelce's globetrotting off-season.
"Some training camps you take that long walk down the hill and think of all you didn’t get to accomplish in the offseason," Long wrote on X, formerly Twitter, in response to the picture of Kelce. "This guy has the look of a guy who didn’t miss a thing."

Long retired from the NFL in 2019, since cultivating an X following of more than 350,000. Before then, Long was a first-round draft pick that earned Pro Bowl honors in each of his first three seasons with the Bears. As such, the former offensive lineman is plenty familiar with the struggle of maximizing the NFL's six-month offseason, although he likely knew few teammates with the resources and clout of Kelce.
With a team-high nine receptions and 93 yards, Kelce ended the 2023 campaign with a dramatic 25-22 overtime victory over San Francisco in Super Bowl LVIII, beginning his offseason moments later via a romantic embrace with Swift on the Allegiant Stadium field. Kelce then celebrated his third championship parade with the Lombardi Trophy in tow days later, an event that was tragically marred by a mass shooting event that wounded 33 people.
Kelce took care of a few additional domestic responsibilities, overcome by emotion at his brother Jason's teary-eyed NFL retirement ceremony and finally attending a graduation ceremony at the University of Cincinnati after completing his degree two years ago. But by June, Kelce began spending much of his time across the pond, following Swift around the European leg of her Era's Tour.
He attended three shows during her extended weekend at London's Wembley Stadium, including a surprise cameo with Swift's background dancers in her final night at the English national stadium. The following week, Kelce crossed the Irish Sea and attended an Eras Tour stop in Dublin, also fitting a Lake Como rendezvous with Swift in that stretch.
Earlier this month, Kelce watched his girlfriend perform once more in Amsterdam, accompanied in the Johan Cruyff Arena luxury seating by teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany. Swift's performance in the Netherlands included an impromptu tribute to Kelce, and according to comedian Nicki Glaser, he was seen "sprinting" backstage to meet his partner of nearly a year.
While Kelce's season is just warming up, Swift is reaching the final stages of her Euro trip, wrapping up a five-day return to London on August 20 and not returning on tour until November in Toronto.
