Michael Irvin Delivered Stern Warning To Travis Kelce Ahead Of Chiefs’ 3-peat Chase

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs have started training camp for the upcoming 2024 NFL season and begin their journey for a Super Bowl three-peat.

Former Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver Michael Irvin knows a thing or two about chasing three straight rings, winning two consecutive in the 1992 and 1993 seasons. They failed to pick up a third straight in 1994 but won another in 1995.

Irvin is still bothered by his failed three-peat chase. In an interview on ' The Jim Rowe Show ,' Irvin discussed his failed three-peat chase and revealed the warning he gave to Kelce about the Chiefs' potential three-peat.

"I said to [Travis Kelce], 'Whatever you do, do all you can do to make that happen. Don't leave nothing on the table because, I'm telling you, if you leave anything on the table, you don't get it; you will think about it for the rest of your life like I do,'" Irvin said.

Kelce, along with quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid, have already brought Kansas City three Super Bowl trophies. But a three-peat in the NFL Super Bowl era has never been done.

If the Chiefs can manage to win another championship this year and pick up the first Super Bowl three-peat in league history, they may go down as the greatest dynasty ever in the NFL or, at the very least, put them in that conversation.

Following his college career with the Cincinnati Bearcats, 34-year-old Kelce was selected with the No. 63 pick in the third round of the 2013 NFL draft. He is a four-time first-team All-Pro and was named to the NFL 2010 All-Decade team.
