Why Hugh Jackman's Experience Attending a Chiefs Game With Taylor Swift Wasn't Great for His Ego

While Hugh Jackman is a major movie star in his own right, he found himself rethinking his accomplishments after watching the Kansas City Chiefs play football with Taylor Swift .

Jackman, Ryan Reynolds , Blake Lively and more joined Swift to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce 's team last October, with photos from the night quickly gaining a lot of attention. However, according to Jackman, people had little care for him or Reynolds—instead, focusing solely on Swift and Lively.

In a recent interview while promoting their new movie Deadpool & Wolverine , Jackman told People , "If you ever really want to kinda not feel great about your career, go to [an NFL] game with Taylor Swift and Blake Lively—and then you’re Blake Lively, Taylor Swift and others at the game," with Reynolds quickly agreeing.

But this wouldn't stop the duo from attending another NFL game, as Reynolds answered a question about the possibility by saying, "You don’t say no to that," as Jackman replied, "Oh, I hope so."

Fans appreciated Jackman's honesty and supportiveness for Swift, with comments on the video of the interview including, "Love this. We are just the others. ❤️," and "Okg this is great!! Acknowledging the great women they are surrounded with!!"

Although Swift is an undeniable star, Jackman's career is nothing to scoff at. The actor and singer won an Emmy, Golden Globe, two Tony Awards and even a Grammy. He was also nominated for an Oscar and BAFTA.

Next up, Jackman will reprise his iconic role as Wolverine in Deadpool & Wolverine , which hits theaters on July 26. Jackman has played the superhero for almost 25 years, starting with the first X-Men film in 2000.
