Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was seen giving defensive end George Karlaftis a shove during a skirmish in the team's training camp session on Wednesday (July 24).

Karlaftis delivered a big hit on former wide receiver Kadarius Toney , who has been working out at the running back position this week, before Toney retaliated by chucking the ball at him. Kelce then interjected by approaching Karlaftis and shoving him, though the situation immediately de-escalated.

The incident wasn't unique to NFL training camp sessions that commonly see teammates involved in minor skirmishes, which apparently includes the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs.

Kelce, 34, already widely regarded as one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history, has emerged as the football's most recognizable player amid his relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift , numerous endorsements and off-field ventures. The 34-year-old signed an extension that will pay him an average annual salary of $17.125 million during the next two seasons , having previously been set to make $12 million in 2024 and $16.25 during the 2025 season.

Kelce currently ranks fourth among NFL tight ends in both career receptions (907) and receiving yards (11,328), as well as sixth in receiving touchdowns (74) entering his 12th NFL season.
