    That’s a wrap!

The Hallmark Christmas movie, “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story,” was expected to finish filming Thursday night near the company’s headquarters.

Hallmark told The Star that the final scenes of the movie were scheduled to be shot at Crown Center. The area was being transformed into a Christmas wonderland on Thursday afternoon despite temperatures reaching the 90s.

Crown Center is one of the top attraction for visitors to Kansas City, and out-of-towners must have been wondering why the Christmas theme was on display.

“Holiday Touchdown” is expected to be released shortly before Thanksgiving , and it stars Hunter King and Tyler Hynes, who are two regulars in Hallmark movies. Ed Begley Jr., of “Better Call Saul” and “Arrested Development” fame, is starring in the film, too.

As the title would suggest, there will be a big Chiefs presence as well.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid, guard Trey Smith, running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, defensive end George Karlaftis and wide receiver Mecole Hardman recorded scenes at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Donna Kelce, the mother of Chiefs star Travis Kelce, also will appear in the rom-com.

This is a description of the movie from Hallmark: “Alana Higman (King) is sure that her family’s lifelong history as Kansas City Chiefs superfans makes them a frontrunner to win the team’s ‘Fan of the Year’ contest. Derrick (Hynes), Director of Fan Engagement, is tasked with evaluating how Alana and her family stack up against the other two finalists.

“As the pair spends time together, it’s clear there’s a spark between them but when her grandfather’s (Begley) vintage Chiefs, good luck winter hat goes missing, Alana begins to doubt everything she believed about fate, destiny and even questions her future with Derrick — unless, that is, a little Christmas magic can throw a Hail Mary.”
