The new year brings some new faces for the Kansas City Chiefs. After some offseason reshuffling, the defending champions brought some new weapons for Patrick Mahomes. However, Kansas City may have a hidden gem from their previous roster.

Undrafted free agent Nikko Remigio is making waves during the Chiefs' training camp. The former Fresno State product is having a solid training camp for himself. Remigio did not play last season due to an injury.

Mahomes was pretty high on Remigio's performance during training camp. The Chiefs star quarterback had this to say about the second-year wide receiver.

“He just works extremely hard; he’s always asking the right questions, (and he) always wants to get extra work, and that’s what you want; he’s a true pro’s pro,” Mahomes said.

Remigio impressed fans during the 2023 preseason with his abilities. However, a hamstring injury forced the Chiefs to place the Filipino-American wide receiver on the reserve list to start the year.

Cracking the Chiefs' wide receiver room isn't going to be easy. However, Remigio's work ethic will give him all the tools in the world to get a shot.
