KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Time Magazine released its “ World’s Greatest Places 2024 ” list earlier this week. This list of 100 different hotels, museums and other various attractions includes two places located right here in Kansas City.

The first Kansas City location mentioned in Time’s “World’s Greatest Places” is CPKC Stadium . The stadium is home to the KC Current and is the world’s first stadium built for the purpose of professional women’s sports.

Additionally, the location of CPKC Stadium is unique as well. The stadium sits on the Missouri Riverfront with a clear view of the Bond Missouri River Bridge .

The second Kansas City location on Time’s 2024 list is The Rabbit hOle , a children’s museum located in North Kansas City. The museum also officially opened this spring and features immersive art visitors can participate in.

Once inside the Rabbit hOle, kids can read, draw, listen and so much more. According to Time, “What really sets the space apart is its multisensory, tactical design, created by an in-house team of artists.”

Time Magazine selected their list of locations through nominations from their international network of correspondents and contributors as well as an application process.
