The Kansas City Chiefs are in training camp getting ready to prepare to do something no team has ever done. Sure, we have talked about it immensely, but this is easily the most important year of the Chiefs maybe ever. The Chiefs think they can get it done, but, it will take an all-hands-on-deck approach.

So far, that has been one of the small issues the Chiefs have faced. Not because the team has players that don't want to work, but. They have guys who are dealing with injuries.

All of the players who started off training camp on Non-Football Injury/Illness and Physically Unable to Perform lists remain on those lists and out of practice. Those players are S Justin Reid, DE BJ Thompson, DT Derrick Nnadi, CB Jaylen Watson, S Justin Reid, and DE Charles Omenihu with the ACL injury he sustained against the Baltimore Ravens last year.

All-Pro guard Joe Thuney was on that list, as he was still dealing with the pectoral injury that caused him to miss the Super Bowl. However, now he is being activated off the PUP list and is free to practice at camp.

This is great news for the Chiefs and has to be even better news for Patrick Mahomes, as his best offensive lineman is now back. In fact, you can tell he's happy because he let the whole world know he is.

Mahomes gets one of the best offensive guards in the league back to protect him, and the Chiefs get a guy who can run and pass block back just in time for pads at training camp.
