    Two teens hospitalized after shooting in Kansas City

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two teenagers are in the hospital after getting shot in a shooting in Kansas City.

    According to Kansas City police, around 4 a.m. Monday morning, officers were sent to a house on Jarboe Avenue between W 27th Street and W 28th Street for a reported shooting.

    When police arrived, they determined that two teen victims were in the area of a business at 801 SW Blvd. in the parking lot. They began to walk away from the area and they heard the sounds of shots when they both realized they had been struck by gunfire.

    After getting shot, they ran to the home on Jarboe Avenue and were taken to a nearby hospital. Police said they are stable and have non-life-threatening injuries.

    Police did not say the exact ages of the teens and did not name them. They did not release any information about a suspect.
