The Kansas City Chiefs' revamped wide receiver corps brings intriguing upside and an undeniable potential to hit on big plays. And according to one of Patrick Mahomes' newest weapons, Marquise Brown, the team's offense has been "lighting it up" with the deep ball thus far in training camp.

As Brown stated, it helps that Mahomes "puts it on the money every time" and that the Chiefs are putting an emphasis on deep passes, according to ESPN's Adam Teicher .

"Oh yeah, definitely,'' Brown said. "We've got the guys to do it. Coach is putting us in great position to do it and Pat puts it on the money every time, so we've been lighting it up. It has been fun.''

Brown, who signed as a free agent this offseason, has flashed his big-play potential numerous times throughout the first five years of his NFL career. Over his first two years, he topped out with catches of 83 and 70 yards.

Along with Brown, the Chiefs used their first-round selection in the 2024 NFL Draft on former Texas speedster Xavier Worthy. Worthy averaged 15.8 yards per reception as a freshman and 14.0 over his three-year collegiate career.

Although the explosive wideout's touchdowns were down last year, he totaled a career-high in receptions (75) and yards (1,014) before entering the NFL Draft.

If Mahomes, Brown and Worthy can find consistency with big plays this season, it's going to make one of the NFL's most dangerous offenses a nightmare for opponents. More importantly, it'll also put the Chiefs in prime position to push for another Super Bowl run.
