Travis Kelce spent over $130k on gifts for Chiefs from wine to designer bags after he ‘fell in love with Italy’

KANSAS City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has proven once more he’s a kind and generous man.

The three-time Super Bowl champion reported for training camp with a hefty bag of gifts for his teammates, worth over $130,000, The U.S. Sun has learned.

“It’s the start of the training camp and Travis is super excited and wanted to show some love and appreciation to his teammates,” a person close to Kelce ‘s entourage said.

“He always does this at the beginning of every season, but this year he wanted to do a special thing, and got them a little package of presents for each player and for some guys on the staff.”

Travis, 34, got to explore Europe as he accompanied popstar girlfriend Taylor Swift on her blockbuster Eras Tour this summer.

The NFL star was particularly blown away by Italy — so much so he and Swift began hunting for a love nest in Lake Como, The U.S. Sun reported in May.

And so Kelce came to training camp with 65 Italy-inspired gift boxes to allow his teammates to have “a bit of what he fell in love with,” the insider said.

Those included fine Tuscan wines, as many Chiefs players like some high quality vino, the source said.

The nine-time Pro Bowler splashed $19,500 on the 2021 Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia red wine, each bottle costing $300.

He added another batch of the 2019 Brunello di Montalcino Piaggione by Salicutti, coming at $150 per flask, for a total of $9,750.

Travis also got some must-have travel accessories from the Italian luxury fashion house Bottega Veneta.

He bought $520 passport cases and $1,100 travel pouches, both made with calfskin leather.

The passport case order totaled $33,800 while the pouches amounted to $71,500.

The insider said that, “as one of the pillars of the team,” Kelce wanted to “show some love” for his teammates as the Chiefs prepare to make another championship bid.

“We wanted to give them a special little thing to thank them and show them support for the exciting season coming on,” the source said.

Kansas City could make history during the 2024 NFL season, completing the first Super Bowl three-peat in league history.

December 2024: Travis brings some festive cheer by splashing out on some $5k Louboutin shoes, matching bag and a $23k Cartier watch. He also books luxury suites at hotels for when Taylor’s Eras tour hits Europe.

Travis wasn’t only enjoying himself during his time in Europe.

Together with his brother Jason, he also worked hard to expand the Kelce brand, The U.S. Sun reported last week .

The two brothers attended the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity where many advertising and branding experts get business deals done.

“That was something that was in the conversation for many weeks,” a source told The U.S. Sun.

“It was marked and highlighted in their schedule as it’s the place to be to network, to speak and to make business with people, companies, brands and experts that have influences all over the world, and in markets that are still be to discovered.”

The source said that many international companies hope to work with the Kelce brothers, viewing them as a way to break into the US market.
