Brittany Mahomes said son Bronze made a “huge step” toward breaking his “bad habit” of watching TV while eating.
“Update: we did try a few books and I was really engaging into the books and asking him lots of questions and really explained a lot to him,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories Monday alongside a photo of her 1-year-old laying down next to stuffed animals.
“He was pretty locked in and ate all his dinner 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙏🏻 huge step!!”
The mom of two — who shares daughter Sterling, 3, and Bronze with husband Patrick Mahomes — shared the update after she revealed that her youngest child picked up a “bad habit” while the family was on vacation in Europe .
“Alright mamas or professionals 😂 We started a bad habit with Bronze while on vacation, we started letting him watch TV when eating literally just to keep him chill and not throw fits in public,” she wrote.
“Cause he is still not the best eater and will fight it and throw huge huge huge fits when trying to make him eat…sooo really didn’t want to do that while on our trips.”
Brittany, who is currently pregnant with the couple’s third child , said she and the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, 28, have been working to “break” Bronze from the habit since they returned home but he is now refusing to eat his meals.
“He legit will not eat a single thing unless he gets a show and then if he does will eat anything,” she shared.
“So I need secrets on how to break this get him to eat 😭🙏🏻.”
