Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce Show Off 'Sick' New Toys

They're not in the Olympics, but Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are taking home the gold.

On Friday, August 2, the dynamic quarterback and tight end were unveiled as members of the Madden "99 club" for 2025 . Only five players earned the distinguished 99 player rating this year: Mahomes, Kelce, RB Christian McCaffrey, LT Trent Williams and WR Tyreek Hill.

For Mahomes, it's his fourth "99 club" honor in the last five years.

The Chiefs' official X account posted an unboxing video of Mahomes and Kelce showing off their new gifts, customized to some of their well-known personal interests.

Each player received a glass-encased "99" player card and a gold Xbox controller. However, Kelce was also gifted a golden microphone for his popular "New Heights" podcast .

Mahomes took home a custom golf set, highlighted by a gold putter.

"Handicap is going down," Mahomes exclaimed. "For sure using this. That is sick."

Both avid golfers, Mahomes and Kelce are well-known figures at the "Super Bowl of Celebrity Golf," the American Century Championship at Lake Tahoe.

They also defeated Warriors stars Steph Curry and Klay Thompson at "The Match" in June 2023, despite being slight underdogs.
