Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes

Kansas City Chiefs right-handed quarterback Patrick Mahomes has proven multiple times across his Hall of Fame-worthy career that he can improvise when needed and throw southpaw .

The two-time MVP has added countless magical moments in big games, throwing off-balance and completing teardrop touchdown passes along the way over his first seven NFL seasons.

Mahomes tried something new on Friday during Chiefs practice, spinning multiple times with his head down against some sort of pole (a la the "dizzy bat" game) and fired a trio of passes toward netting with three targets from 10 yards away. Mahomes successfully hit the netting on his second and third attempts, all while blindfolded.

With six Pro Bowls, three Super Bowl titles and three Super Bowl MVP honors, there's not much else for the 28-year-old to accomplish. Fans have already seen Mahomes pull off some unbelievable scrambles — including multiple spins in opposite directions — but probably shouldn't expect head coach Andy Reid to allow the franchise signal-caller to go out in a real game blindfolded any time soon.

Chiefs fans will gladly take another championship over the winter, though, regardless of how many jaw-dropping plays Mahomes completes. Kansas City is looking to become the first team in NFL history to win three straight Super Bowls.
