The Kansas City Chiefs are in the middle of a run that will be considered one of the best in NFL history. They got there by handling personnel decisions and acing them, whether in free agency or the NFL draft.

One person who has been a part of those decisions going back to 2013, through various roles, Brett Veach.

Veach is one of the best, if not the best, general managers in the entire NFL. Through many curveballs and situations, he has maintained excellence for the Chiefs. That excellence reached a new high on Friday night when the NFL released its top ten player rankings as voted on by the league's players.

Inside that top ten was something special: four players that Bret Veach helped scout and or draft for the Chiefs.

Those four players are Pat Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones, and the number one player in the vote, Tyreek Hill. Three of the four still remain pivotal to the Kansas City Chiefs while Hill was traded to the Miami Dolphins in 2022.

Having that good of an eye for talent doesn’t come around often in the NFL, appreciate the greatness in your front office Chiefs fans.
