In the past, country music singer Morgan Wallen has made headlines for some less-than-exemplary behavior—but one recent interaction with a young fan at a concert has supporters praising the star.
TikTok user Claud Gonzelez posted a video on Sunday, August 4, all about what happened when her daughter got to meet her idol at a recent concert. As the mom wrote in her caption, they originally planned on seeing Wallen in Tampa, but the show was cancelled—devastating the little girl—so they booked a trip to see Wallen in Kansas City instead. Unfortunately, a few days before they were scheduled to go, her daughter fell while performing a stunt in cheer and fractured her elbow. The injury required surgery.
"When she woke up from surgery all she asked was if she would be able to fly to Kansas City to see Morgan Wallen," wrote Gonzalez.
As it turned out, the girl was up for the trip—and her dreams came true after the show.
"When he got off the stage he locked eyes with our girls," Gonzalez continued. "He came straight to them. He grabbed my niece's hand first... then went straight to Sofi to grab her marker and sign her cast. And just like that. CORE MEMORY UNLOCKED."

According to the mom, Wallen even signed her daughter's cast in the exact spot she'd been saving for him.

In the comments, Wallen fans raved over the sweet moment.
"Omg this is amazing!! I would cry too," wrote one person, with another calling the clip "the best thing I think I've ever seen."
"Not a fan of Morgan wallen but this was super sweet ! So happy for her 🫶🏼✨" someone else added.
As Parade reported previously, Swifties had a very different sort of reaction when Travis Kelce made an appearance at Wallen's concert on August 2, with Taylor Swift fans calling Kelce's cameo "disappointing" and "a bad move" online. In 2021, Wallen was suspended from his record label after video surfaced of him using a racial slur, and he's been in trouble with the law on multiple occasions, including one incident earlier this year when he was arrested for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
