Man arrested after threatening to shoot members of Chiefs organization

Morgan Wallen concerts have been known to get a little rowdy, and members of the Kansas City Chiefs organization experienced that firsthand over the weekend at Wallen’s concert at Arrowhead Stadium.

A suspect identified as Aaron Brown of Illinois was arrested Friday night after allegedly threatening to shoot members of the Chiefs organization and is facing a felony charge of making a terroristic threat in the second degree.

He was charged Saturday and prosecutors requested a $15,000 bond, according to Kendrick Calfee of The Kansas City Star . If found guilty, Brown could face anywhere from one to four years in prison.

Police were made privy to Brown’s intentions after he allegedly made a social media post hours before the concert insinuating he would shoot members of the organization in a post that has since been deleted, via CBS Sports .

Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Chris Jones attended the concert and escorted Wallen through the Arrowhead Stadium corridors before the show.

Police reportedly worked with X under emergency conditions to identify and get the cell phone number of Brown, who they then called. Brown allegedly not only took their call, but he admitted to being at Arrowhead with his girlfriend, which is where police apprehended him.

The concert was reportedly delayed by 40 minutes while police searched for Brown in the crowd.

According to Brown’s girlfriend, he allegedly sent the tweet as a joke thinking no one would see it, or if they did, they wouldn’t take it seriously. Brown later allegedly admitted to police that sending the tweet was “a stupid, stupid, stupid mistake” on his part, per TMZ .
