Budweiser Clydesdales coming to Kansas City area in August

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Budweiser Clydesdales are coming to the Kansas City metro.

The iconic horse team, along with their Dalmatians, is touring the country with Folds of Honor this year to mark the 14-year partnership between Anheuser-Busch, Budweiser, and the Folds of Honor Foundation . The nonprofit organization provides scholarships to the families of fallen or disabled U.S. service members and first responders.

Whether or not you’re a fan of Budweiser, or beer in general, there’s no denying the cultural impact of the Clydesdales, either through Super Bowl commercials or appearances at events like the Rose Parade and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Specifics around the schedule are still being determined but the hitch will be at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas during the University of Kansas football game against Lindenwood on August 29.

There will also be a check presentation to a Folds of Honor recipient.

Additionally, they will have a few other visits throughout the metro through the rest of the week into the weekend.

KU is playing two non-conference games on the soccer pitch and all Big 12 home games are being played at Arrowhead Stadium while construction continues at David Booth Memorial Stadium .
