Football season is finally here. On Saturday, the Kansas City Chiefs will take the field for the first time since winning back-to-back Super Bowls when they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Despite this being an exhibition game with no set implications for the season ahead, the Chiefs will reportedly play their starters on Saturday night. According to ESPN's Adam Teicher , the Chiefs will have their starting unit play the first quarter versus the Jaguars.
So, any Chiefs fans in attendance at Everbank Stadium or those watching from the comfort of their own home will see quarterback Patrick Mahomes work with his some of his newest weapons.

This will certainly be reason enough for fans to tune in as they will get their first look at a Chiefs offense that is set to feature this offseason's free agent signing Marquise "Hollywood" Brown and first-round pick Xavier Worthy.
"It’ll be good to play against someone else," Mahomes said of playing in the preseason. "I’m tired of going against [the Chiefs defense] and every defense known to man."
The decision to have Mahomes, star tight end Travis Kelce, and defensive tackle Chris Jones take the field will differ from other teams around the league. While some teams tend not to play their veteran stars, the Chiefs take advantage of these tune-up games.
Kickoff between the Chiefs and Jaguars is set for 6 p.m. (CT) inside Everbank Stadium. Fans who cannot attend can tune in via the NFL Network.
