The NBA's "Greatest of All Time" debate is one of the most talked-about topics around the world of sports. And before a recent training camp practice, the Kansas City Chiefs' social media team posed the question to its players.

Superstar tight end Travis Kelce didn't hesitate one bit when asked to name his pick for the basketball GOAT — emphatically giving the title to LeBron James.

The Chiefs pass catcher has an affinity for James due to their shared roots in the state of Ohio. LeBron famously grew up in Akron. Travis and his brother, Jason, hail from Cleveland Heights.

"You already know man, it's all about Bron, man. Northeast Ohio, baby, it's something in the water," Kelce said.

James, a four-time NBA champion and four-time league MVP, is heading into his 22nd NBA season. At age 39 this past year, the all-time great hooper averaged 25.7 points, 8.3 assists and 7.3 rebounds in 35.3 minutes per game.

James is currently dominating Olympic competition as he goes after his third gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Kelce and the Chiefs are fresh off back-to-back Super Bowl wins and in the hunt for the first ever Super Bowl three-peat this coming NFL season.

The Chiefs will kickoff their preseason schedule with a matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday night.

LeBron and Team USA will face off against Serbia in the Olympic semifinals on Thursday.
