The Chiefs had their last day of training camp practice before the preseason on Wednesday.

So Mahomes decided to show off a new trick play before the day ended.

The 28-year-old was seen at the practice session in an X video.

And Mahomes took a shotgun pass, ran to his right and hit running back Isiah Pacheco with a behind-the-back pass to score a touchdown.

Chiefs fans could be heard cheering at the play.

And social media users joined in with their praise of Mahomes.

“Never ceases to amaze,” one commented.

“Mahomes throwing behind his back now because playing QB normally is like playing Madden on Rookie for him,” another wrote.

“Lmao are you kidding me,” a third asked.

The two-time MVP Mahomes’ latest stunning play comes after several recent trick plays.

He was seen spinning around blindfolded and hitting a net in a previous practice.

Mahomes has also been spotted throwing two passes on one play.

And Patrick was part of a hook-and-ladder play where he threw the ball to the right side to Travis Kelce .

The star tight end then pitched it back to Pacheco who ran for what appeared to be close to 10 yards before being pushed out of bounds.

Mahomes is expected to play a few snaps against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Kansas City’s first preseason game.

The Chiefs will hope to achieve the NFL ‘s first-ever three-peat.

They will play the Baltimore Ravens in the league’s season opener on September 5.
