The college football season can't come any sooner, but the Coaches Poll gives us a glimpse as to what college coaches think about the Miami Hurricanes in 2024.

With the release of the Coaches Poll today, the Hurricanes come in at 19th receiving 292 points and the third highest ranking ACC team behind Clemson and Florida State.

    Here's the list as follows:

    1. Georgia

    2. Ohio State

    3. Oregon

    4. Texas

    5. Alabama

    6. Ole Miss

    7. Notre Dame

    8. Michigan

    9. Penn State

    10. Florida State

    11. Missouri

    12. LSU

    13. Utah

    14. Clemson

    15. Tennessee

    16. Oklahoma

    17. Kansas State

    18. Oklahoma State

    19. Miami

    20. Texas A&M

    21. Arizona

    22. NC State

    23. USC

    24. Kansas

    25. Iowa

In total, four ACC schools were ranked with the other being NC State (#22). Five other ACC schools received votes but were not ranked, with those being Louisville (95 votes), Virginia Tech (64 votes), SMU (47 votes), North Carolina (6 votes) and Syracuse (1 vote).

The SEC had the most ranked schools, with nine followed by the Big Ten with six and Big 12 with five.

Out of the nine ACC schools to receive at least one vote, the Hurricanes will face four of them. The Florida Gators are the only non-conference opponent on Miami's 2024 schedule to receive any votes in the Coaches Poll.

Miami's ranking after their Week 1 matchup against the Florida Gators will surely tell a lot about the state of the program, as a loss will likely lead to them dropping but a big win could help push themselves into the Top 15.

The AP Poll is set to release next week on Monday August 12th at noon EST.
