    Saturday in the Park will match more than $4,500 raised for flood victims during festival

    SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Saturday in the Park has announced that more than $4,500 was raised for Siouxland flood victims during the festival. Saturday in the Park made a donation matching the total raised.

    A total of $4,552.27 was raised by festival-goers during Saturday in the Park.

    Riverside, riverfront areas to be sprayed for mosquitoes

    When Saturday in the Park announced they’d be collecting donations at the festival , they added they would be matching all donations raised during the festival. This means that between festival-goers and Saturday in the Park, nearly $10,000 has been donated to help victims of the flood.

    When they made the announcement, Saturday in the Park said that the money would be given to the Red Cross.

    Saturday in the Park took place on July 6 this year, featuring names such as Bleachers, Del Water Gap, Twista, and Black Joe Lewis.
