Detectives in Westmoreland County have filed charges against a Mount Pleasant woman accused of stealing over $100,000 worth of PA Lottery tickets at her work.

Falbo’s Pizzeria in South Greensburg was first alerted to discrepancies with their lottery machine in 2019.

Last December, the pizzeria told police that weekly audits of the lottery machine showed deficiencies in instant game tickets.

Those deficiencies would range from “several hundred dollars to several thousand on a weekly basis.

Kimberly Morris reportedly “oversaw and monitored the lottery machine” from 2018 to 2020.

She usually worked when there were no other supervisors around.

Police say the owner of Falbo’s “deposited more than $102,000 of her personal funds into the account to satisfy the loss.”

Morris told detectives that she was the administrator of the machine, she was able to play the Lottery’s instant games without having to pay for the tickets.

She is charged with theft and receiving stolen property. She was released after she was arraigned.
