Shooting Near a Shreveport Night Club Injures Two
At 1:30am Monday (6/24/24) Shreveport Police were called out to reports of a shooting near a Highland night club. The shooting took place in the 2000 Block of Marshall Street in Shreveport near Ant's Urban Lounge. Police say two people suffered injuries as a result of the shooting. The injured male and female were taken to a local hospital and treated for their gunshot wounds.

Everything is bigger in Texas, right? Of course, there are large prisons all over the United States. But the biggest prison in Texas is both huge and intimidating. The H.H. Coffield Unit is a men's prison in Anderson County located alongside FM Road 2054 in Tennessee Colony, Texas which is a little over an hour from Tyler, Texas, and 2.5 hours from Houston, Texas. According to Wikipedia, It opened in June of 1965 and is the Texas Department of Criminal Justice's largest prison. It also contains varying levels of security, including both medium AND maximum security units.

Shreveport Police officers have arrested 40-year-old Tony Callihan following a call regarding a suspicious person in the 1000 block of Quail Creek at the Jolie Apartments. Shreveport Man Arrested for Domestic Abuse on a Juvenile
The Shreveport Police Department has arrested 43-year-old Brandon Leviston on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm and domestic abuse battery. The arrest follows an incident on May 29, in which Leviston allegedly grabbed a juvenile household member by the neck, threw her to the ground, and threatened her with a handgun.
