    Football Friday: High school seasons starts

    SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — It’s time for football in KELOLAND.

    High School football live coverage schedule announced

    The South Dakota high school football season officially starts Friday with Class 11B and all three 9-man classes playing the first games. KELOLAND Media Group will also broadcast live high school football on KELOXTRA throughout the season starting with Viborg-Hurley taking on No. 2 Canistota.

    KELOLAND Sports Director Grant Sweeter will be on the mic with live play-by-play action and KELOLAND’s Jordan DeSmet will be providing sideline reporting. The game, which starts at 7 p.m. Friday, will broadcast on KELOXTRA and live streamed on KELOLAND.com.

    In addition to the Viborg-Hurley-Canistota game, KELOLAND Media Group will have coverage from 11 games across South Dakota.

    Here’s the games you can find highlights from during Friday night’s SportsZone at 10:15 p.m.

    Class 11B: No. 2 Elk Point-Jefferson vs. Parker

    Class 11B: St. Thomas More vs. No. 3 Sioux Valley

    Class 11B No. 4 Woonsocket/ Wessington Springs/ Sanborn Central vs. Bridgewater-Emery/Ethan

    Class 11B: Beresford vs. Baltic

    Class 9AA: No. 1 Parkston vs. No. 5 Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy

    Class 9AA: No. 4 Hanson vs. Garretson

    Class 9AA: Viborg-Hurley vs. Class 9B No. 2 Canistota (Live Coverage)

    Class 9A – Philip vs. No. 2 Wall

    Class 9A – Deubrook Area vs. Centerville

    Class 9B: No. 1 Avon vs. Colman-Egan

    Class 9B: Oldham-Ramona-Rutland vs. No. 5 Dell Rapids St. Mary
