Artist of the Month – June: Allison Krzych and the Pump House Regional Arts Center
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Part two of my interview with Allison was hard to edit. Not for any mechanical or content related reasons. It was hard to edit because Part 1 opened a pandoras box of moments and “core” memories. That has led me to meandering through the Pump House socials and website looking back at the things that I cherished and loved and, in some cases, learned for the first time.
First Alert Weather: Some sun & chances of storms starting the new week
WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - The holiday weekend is winding down, but there will be some decent weather to enjoy. Wednesday will have an isolated afternoon storm in spots, but it does appear dry weather will take hold late in the week into the start of next weekend. It will also get warmer, with highs rising into the 80s.

The Wisconsin State Fair has always been one of the highlights of my summer. The last two summers I had the incredible opportunity to work for the Wisconsin State Fair Dairy Promotion Board, caring for and milking the demonstration dairy herd and educating fairgoers about our state’s impressive $45.6 billion dairy industry in Dairy Lane. This year, I look forward to returning to West Allis in a new role, as the 77th Alice in Dairyland, Wisconsin’s Agriculture Ambassador, to promote the agriculture exhibits and educational opportunities inside State Fair Park.
