    Brandon Valley claims Pigskin Classic win over Washington

    SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Third-ranked Brandon Valley kicked off the season with a 20-7 win over #5 Sioux Falls Washington.

    The Lynx trailed 7-6 at halftime and turned it around early in the third quarter.

    After claiming the 14-7 lead, Brandon Valley wouldn’t let the Warriors redeem themselves. Midway into the third, Nolan Pudwill nails the interception by Nolan Pudwill placing the Lynx on in good field positioning. The third-ranked team would score on the following drive and that’d call it a game.

    The Lynx are now 1-0, they’ll visit Rapid City Stevens for the Rushmore Bowl on Friday, September 6th.
