KENILWORTH, NJ - Newly appointed Chief of Police Paul Campanelli took an oath of office at the most recent council meeting on Wednesday, July 17, to become the leader of the department after the Town Council unanimously approved a resolution appointing him chief.

Campanelli is the successor of former Chief Fred Soos, who retired effective June 28, 2024, after leading the KPD for more than seven and a half years.
