    Home damaged in two-alarm fire in Kenilworth

    KENILWORTH – A home was heavily damaged in an early Friday morning fire on Coolidge Drive.

    Around 5:06 a.m., town firefighters responded to a home on Coolidge Road on reports of a structure fire. Upon arrival, firefighters reported that the two-story home was fully engulfed in flames, authorities said.

    The home was unoccupied and no injuries were reported.

    Firefighters from Kenilworth, Union, Springfield, Cranford and Westfield responded to fight the blaze, according to authorities.

    The fire was put out in under an hour.
