According to a new report by NC Health News, an Urgent Care facility based in NC stays open until 1:00 am. According to the report, After Hours Urgent Care Center, located in Pineville, stays open until 1:00 am.

While most Urgent Care centers close at 8:00 pm, AHUCC stays open until 1:00 am Monday through Saturday. The CEO of AHUCC, Waseem Ghannam, M.D., stated "Charlotte is too big for everything to stop at 7. Things happen after 7 p.m., and consumers need to have a choice. Not everything needs to go to the ER".

AHUCC opened its doors on May 10 2024 and Ghannam stated that he plans to open three more locations within the next year in Charlotte's University center area, Raleigh, and Orlando.
