Jaden Manning gives North Texas fifth commitment in 2025 class
North Texas landed its fifth recruitment for the 2025 class as Jaden Manning, a versatile threat from Mansfield Legacy (Texas), announced his decision to join the Mean Green. During his junior year in Mansfield, Manning played linebacker and running back. He recorded 26 tackles across eight games, averaging 3.3 tackles per game. On offense, Manning carried the ball 41 times, amassing 367 yards at an average of 45.9 yards per game. He scored two touchdowns in 2023.

39 | LB Jason Phillips (2004-2008) A two-star quarterback prospect out of Waller, TX, ranked outside the top 1,800 players in the Class of 2004, Jason Phillips would become one of the greatest linebackers in TCU history. Upon arrival in Fort Worth he was transitioned to fullback and redshirted his first season. Ahead of the 2005 season Coach Gary Patterson moved Phillips to the linebacker position where he’d quickly earn the starting role starting all but one game over the next four seasons. Phillips would lead a dominant Horned Frogs defense that would win the Mountain West in 2005 and would win four consecutive bowl games with two finishes ranked in the Top 10. With 315 career tackles, Phillips received All-Mountain West Conference honors all four seasons, three of which were First Team, with a Second Team appearance as a freshman,
2023-24 TCU Women’s Equestrian Season Recap
The TCU women’s equestrian team remained one of the elite programs in the country during the 2023-24 campaign. The Horned Frogs went 14-3 overall and scored eight victories against ranked opponents throughout the regular season. TCU ultimately took second in the Big 12 Championship before reaching the final round of the NCEA National Championship, where the Horned Frogs fell against SMU to take second place. It was TCU’s 11th season under director Haley Schoolfield, who won Big 12 Coach of the Year honors.
