    One person hurt after shooting in Kennewick early Saturday

    KENNEWICK, Wash. - One person was hurt in what the Kennewick Police Department called a "targeted attack" early Saturday morning.

    Several calls for help came in shortly before 12:30 a.m. Officers responded to the area of West 5th Avenue and Rainier Street. According to information released by the police department, officers said they found several spent shell casings in the intersection.

    They also found a person who was hurt but their injuries were described as not being life-threatening. The person was taken to the hospital and their current condition is not known.

    Authorities did not release information on what led up to the shooting or a description of a suspect or suspects.
