WASHINGTON CO. FIRST RESPONDERS PERFORM WATER RESCUE ON OLD CHAPPELL HILL ROAD
Multiple Washington County agencies conducted a water rescue operation Tuesday afternoon. According to Chappell Hill Volunteer Fire Department Captain Dustin Brown, Chappell Hill firefighters were dispatched just after 3:15 p.m., with the Brenham Fire Department as mutual aid, to a reported motorist assist in the 6800 block of Old Chappell Hill Road. Units soon learned that it was a water rescue due to a vehicle driving in high water. Washington County EMS was also dispatched to the call.

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting tomorrow (Wednesday) for a cleaning service in Brenham. The Chamber will welcome new member Diamond TX Services, LLC with a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. The ceremony will be inside the conference room at the Chamber office, 314 South Austin Street in Brenham.
