Hoopeston woman killed in Iroquois County crash
IROQUOIS COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) - A Hoopeston woman was killed in an Iroquois County crash Wednesday. Iroquois County Sheriff's deputies were called out for a crash between a car and a semi-truck at the intersection of Co. Rd. 2000 East and 1000 North in rural Milford just before 5 p.m.

HOOPESTON — Animal lover Sara Rhodes was doing what was her passion when she died in an accident on Wednesday in rural Milford. Rhodes, 64, was known locally as the manager of the Hoopeston McDonald’s restaurant, which she’s been for about 24 years, but also as being an animal rescuer.
