Knox Community School Corporation pushes back start of school year
KNOX, Ind. (WNDU) - Students in Knox will go back to school one day later than originally anticipated. According to a Facebook post from the Knox Community School Corporation, the district has pushed the first day of school back from Monday, Aug. 5, to Tuesday, Aug. 6, because it’s monitoring the air quality at Knox Middle School.

Lake County, IN – An Illinois man standing outside his disabled vehicle was struck and killed on the Indiana Toll Road earlier this morning. Indiana State Police Dispatch received multiple calls about the serious accident near the 8.3-mile marker in the westbound lanes.
