Man killed in Schiller Park road rage shootout ID'd; CCL holder fired in self-defense, police say
A 19-year-old Streamwood man has been identified after he was killed by a CCL holder in a shootout Tuesday evening in the northwest suburbs.Police said the incident was initially thought to be a road rage shooting. A woman was also injured.The deceased man has been identified as 19-year-old Malachi N. Johnson of Streamwood, the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said.The other man involved in the shooting, who has a valid FOID and concealed-carry license, fired back at Johnson in self-defense, according to Schiller Park police.ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. (CBS DETROIT) — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has agreed to issue a fuel waiver for Michigan and three other Midwest states after an outage at an Illinois oil refinery.Prior to the approval, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer sent a letter to the EPA Whitmer wrote a letter to the EPA requesting an emergency fuel waiver that would boost our fuel supply and lower gas prices in Michigan.
