So. Minn. Police Department Issues Warning To Area Juveniles
A Southern Minnesota Police Department has issued a warning to area youth, to abide by the city-enforced curfew or face citations. The Kenyon Police Department, located in Southern Minnesota, near Faribault, took to social media, to warn area parents and youth that breaking curfew could result in citations being issued to either the minor or the parent of a minor.

KENYON, Minn.-After kids in Kenyon have been caught getting into mischief after curfew. Kenyon Police Chief Jeffrey Sjoblom says, "Recently we've had some more frequent calls with dealing with juveniles late at night. We had some vandalism recently and we were able to identify the suspects and found out to be ages were 13 and 14."

Pine Island Standoff Molitor Sentenced
A Pine Island man who was involved in a hours long standoff with multiple law enforcement agencies in June of 2022 has been sentenced in Olmsted County Court. 37-year old Michael Molitor was sentenced to 10 years in prison and ordered to spend five years on probation following his release by the Minnesota Department of Corrections.
Multi-vehicle crashes injured four Sunday in SE Minnesota
KIMT-TV 3 NEWS – Several multi-vehicle accidents Sunday in southeast Minnesota injured a total of four people. The first happened around 3:59 pm on Interstate 35 in Rice County. The Minnesota State Patrol says a pickup pulling a camper, two SUVs, and a car were all southbound in a two-lane construction zone near mile marker 55 when they crashed.
Community mingles with Northfield police chief finalists
On June 25, the Northfield community was invited to meet the two finalists for Northfield police chief, Mikael Garland and Jeffrey Schroepfer.
