Local online plant sale gives East Texans opportunity to shop, learn

ATHENS, Texas ( KETK ) – East Texans looking to perfect their green thumb will have an opportunity to shop for plants from the comfort of their homes.

The Henderson County Master Gardner’s Online Plant Sale is slated for April 11-14. A link will go live on their website on April 11 at 9 a.m. Customers will be able to browse more than 70 plant species for sale, including native plants, Texas Superstars, perennials, hanging baskets and more.

Those who order plants will be able to pick them up at the Trinity Valley Community College greenhouse between April 16-19 from 9-11 a.m. The final pickup opportunity and close out sale of remaining plants is on April 20 at the TVCC pavilion from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

The annual sale provides funds for HCMGA’s educational programs and presentations.
