    Missing Winnsboro senior found safe, police say

    UPDATE: The Winnsboro Police Department said Caviness was found safe at 1:30 p.m.


    WINNSBORO, Texas ( KETK ) — East Texas officials are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 75-years-old Winnsboro man last seen on Sunday.

    Body found in Titus County, sheriff’s office says

    The Winnsboro Police Department is searching for Larry Caviness who went missing from his residence on Ebenezer Street at around 9:30 a.m. where he reportedly left his wallet and phone behind. Caviness is described as being 6’1 and 180 pounds.

    Officials said Caviness left the residence in his blue 1996 GMC 1500 with Texas license plate AG41525.

    Anyone with information on Caviness’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Winnsboro Police Department at 903-342-3620.
