    Woman, 79, Suffering From Dementia Goes Missing in Lawndale

    LAWNDALE (CNS) - The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Saturday circulated photos of a 79-year-old woman suffering from dementia who went missing in Lawndale.

    Magdalen Mary Dee, who requires medication, was last seen about 7:45 p.m. Friday near the 4700 block of West 167th Street, the Sheriff's Information Bureau reported.

    Dee was described as a 5-foot, 6-inch tall White female weighing 210 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue and purple dress and carrying a large white/pink purse.

    Anyone with information about Dee's whereabouts was urged to contact the sheriff's Homicide Bureau Missing Persons Detail at 323-890-5500. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or visit lacrimestoppers.org.
