    Police searching for suspect in SW Oklahoma City

    OKLAHOMA CITY ( KFOR ) – Police say they are searching for an individual who ran away from an officer Thursday morning.

    According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, an officer tried to make contact with a person near SW 31st St. and May Ave. around 5 a.m.

    LOCAL NEWS: OBN seizes thousands of marijuana plants at McAlester grow

    When the person saw the officer, they ran off which led to a search. Police say they believe this individual has an outstanding warrant.

    During the search, police detained multiple people in a home where officers thought the individual was possibly hiding.

    They have all since been released.

    Officials say the search continues.
