City officials previously on Wednesday, informed customers on E Juniper; E Forster, E Perry, E Dowden, E Carson that they would likely be impacted and estimated time of completion yesterday at 5:00 p.m. before water would be restored.

On Thursday, City of Mustang Facebook page informed residents in order to repair the Water Main Break, water will be shut off to all customers on both the east and west sides of South Mustang Road including schools at the end of the day. Currently, there is no word on a estimated time for the repairs.

Mustang officials responded on Facebook about the disruption in service stating, “Most have been contractor related. Today’s was likely the result of shifting soil from the heavy rains on Sunday.”
