City of Tehachapi opens 2024 ‘Spring Into Action’ activity challenge

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The city of Tehachapi is laying down a challenge this spring to get outside and move.

The City of Tehachapi with Tehachapi Valley Health Care District and the Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Park District is gearing up for its Spring Into Action campaign from March 21 through June 10.

Organizers said the challenge isn’t just for Tehachapi residents but it’s open to everyone in the hopes of getting you to go outside for activity. Riding a bike, going on a hike, swimming or going for a stroll counts.

Since it is a challenge, officials said it will use the activity data from the app to post results on social media on Mondays to see how you stack up.
