Sheriff’s deputies seen outside residence in Oildale

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office had crime scene tape set up near a home in Oildale Friday evening.

Sheriff’s deputies were seen with guns drawn as they called out to a subject at a home on Oildale Drive and El Tejon Avenue Aug. 16. The incident began at about 6 p.m.

One person was seen being put into a patrol vehicle in handcuffs.

17 News has not heard back from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office regarding this incident.
