    Man arrested, 2 pounds of drugs seized in Lamont: KCSO

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kern County sheriff’s deputies discovered over 2 pounds of a suspected controlled substance while serving a search warrant in Lamont on Thursday.

    Jesus Campana, a 35-year-old from Lamont, was arrested Aug. 22 in the 7900 block of Alden Street, according to deputies. Campana had an active felony arrest warrant and deputies discovered over 2 pounds of a suspected controlled substance, a loaded firearm, large sums of money and evidence of drug sales.

    Campana was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance while armed, keeping a place for narcotic sales, possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of a controlled substance and the active felony arrest warrant, according to KCSO.
