No one hurt in morning Manitowoc fire, officials warn about fireworks
MANITOWOC, Wis. (WBAY) - While a fire in a residential area is still under investigation, Manitowoc firefighters stressed the importance of staying safe around fireworks. Manitowoc Fire Rescue Department said they received a transmission of an alarm at 8:13 a.m. Friday for a report of a structure fire on the 700 block of North 7th Street. 911 call reported there was smoke and flames showing. Firefighters arrived on the scene within four minutes and found an active fire on the exterior of the structure. Everyone got out safely.
